How To Get Involved

PTO Board Roles
Executive Board
The Executive Board leads the PTO's overall direction and operations. These ten voting positions — President, President-Elect, Recording Secretary, Treasurer, Treasurer-Elect, Communications Chair, Student-Led Fundraising Chair, Community Fundraising Chair, Volunteer Chair (Upper Grades), and Volunteer Chair (Lower Grades) — set the vision for the year, oversee finances, and ensure the organization runs smoothly. The Outgoing President serves as a non-voting advisor to support continuity during leadership transitions.

Coordinator Roles
Coordinators manage specific programs and initiatives throughout the school year, such as Spirit Nights, Book Fair, Teacher Appreciation, and the school garden. These roles are a great way to take ownership of something you're passionate about while making a direct impact on the Memorial community.
Committees
Committees are project-based groups that come together to support specific events or needs, like the Gala, Fall Fest, Book Fair, or Dad's Club. Committee involvement is flexible and a perfect entry point for parents who want to contribute without a year-long commitment.
