As we gear up for another amazing school year at Memorial Elementary, it’s a great time to brush up on the school uniform policy. Make sure your child is ready to start day one with confidence and in dress code.
This guide breaks down the essentials, with links to uniform staples that help support PTO.
What Students Wear (Monday–Thursday)
Tops

Polo shirts are the approved top for Memorial. They must be:
Red, white, or navy
Collared
Short or long sleeves (no tank tops)
Solid color (no patterns or words)
Bottoms

Khaki colored bottoms are approved, and students can choose between:
Pants
Shorts
Skirts
Skorts
Jumper dresses
Be sure skirts and shorts follow the fingertip rule (they should reach at least to your child’s fingertips when arms are at their sides).
Footwear
Closed-toe shoes are requested for student safety during daily recess. Sandals, Crocs, flip-flops, or shoes with wheels are not allowed.
Friday Spirit Days and College Days
On Fridays, students can wear school or university shirts with uniform bottoms or jeans. Spirit shirts can be purchased through the PTO Store.
The school encourages students to have fun expressing their love of learning and support community spirit for Memorial.
